Happy Holidays! On December 17, from 1-3 pm at the Winchester Youth Center, we are holding a Craft and Jewelry celebration. For months peer leaders have been diligently working to build the finest necklaces, the most exquisite earnings, and countless accessories fit for any occasion. All funds support our trip with Habitat for Humanity, so bring your friends and family! There is something here for everyone dear to your heart.
Treat For Troops
Thanks to all the donations from the students across Winchester we were able to gather approximately twenty bags filled to the brim with delicious candy. We dropped and boxed the carloads of candy on November 9 and the program was incredibly thankful for everyone's donations. Next year we will collect even more candy to send oversees to give our troops something tasty to smile about.

Daddy Daughter Dance
Daddy/ Daughter dance occurred February 26 and the Burlington Marriott. The Peer Leaders took pictures of the fathers and their princess behind a gorgeous pink castle. We hope that the fathers and daughters made memories to last forever. All of the girls received a small gift. Along with taking pictures, the Peer Leaders served food and assisted with check-in. The Peer Leaders had a great time and we all hope that all the fathers and their little girls had an awesome time too. We look forward to another fabulous Daddy/ Daughter dance next year!
Halloween Window Painting
The WYC collaborates with the Winchester Recreation Department to organize this town-wide annual event.
On Saturday, October 23rd children were given the opportunity to paint the windows of participating businesses with a Halloween theme.
This years Halloween Window Painting was spectacular! So many kids showed up on Saturday morning to paint their windows and I must say they look amazing. We got a handful of spooky ghosts, evil witches, and even some new paintings I've never seen before. The children of Winchester once again surpassed my artistic ability and I hope they'll all join us again next year! The Peer Leaders were responsible for the entire downtown area and were in their Halloween costumes to encourage the children and give medals to all participants.

Children of all ages were invited to meet behind the Public Library at 10:00amfor a costume parade to the WInchester Common and then go trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses. Then we all headed over to the Town Hall Auditorium for a Halloween party featuring games, crafts, and music.
The Peer Leaders and Little Brothers & Sisters were in their costumes to help lead the parade and then organized games and crafts for everyone at the party!
The Halloween Kids Parade was a fun activity that the Winchester Youth Center Peer Leaders and Little Brothers & Sisters volunteered at. We helpt to run the activities. All of the Winchester Youth Center volunteers had a great time running the activites and event allowed them a chance to bond with each other. We all look forward to another parade and activities next year!
