The goal of the drop-in center is to provide middle and high school students with a safe space to hang out in after school where they can have fun with friends, meet new people, participate in fun activities, and get involved with all the WYC has to offer.

The drop-in center is open throughout the school-year, 2:15-5:00 on regular school days and 11:10-3:00 on early release days.

We will open our doors on Monday, September 12th and will be open all month-long for everyone to explore and enjoy. We invite all McCall and WHS students to stop by, say hi, check-out our newly redecorated space, learn about our new activities, pick up your membership application, and join us in some after school fun!

Drop-in Center Membership

To attend the drop-in center after school students must complete a membership application and submit the $40 fee which is good for the entire school-year. Scholarships are available, please contact Rebecca for more information.
Membership is open to all middle school students and provides access to all of the following amazing activities:
  • arts & crafts projects
  • outdoor sports
  • dance parties
  • Wii sports
  • Rock Band
  • pool
  • foosball
  • air hockey
  • movies
  • homework help
  • flag football and kickball tournaments

Additionally this year we will be organizing group outings and off-site adventures on early release days and twice a month after school including:
  • hiking and mountain biking in the Fells
  • trips into Boston to explore China Town, Newbury Street, The North End, and Faneuil Hall
  • sledding in the winter
  • and more
